Myself and my mother was really disappointed with our experience at blow to be totally honest. To try summarise.
Firstly, we received a call from the salon that our appointments had to be pushed back 15 min which we were completely understanding about assuming they were busy. However, when we arrived there there were neither any hairdressers or customers and when both hairdressers arrived 15 min later it was as if they came back from a lunch break and were not in the slightest apologetic for delay.
Secondly, the gentleman asked me to sit on the chair asked me how I wanted my hair cut (simple trim) and proceeded to cut my hair dry. Now I could be wrong but I found this practice extremely strange particularly considering my hair was curly/frizzy, no spray was used and my hair wasnt even sectioned off with a hair clip! Anxious about this as I had an event to attend I questioned this practice irritated by this as she was too busy on her phone abruptly told him to just wash it! However, even after the hair cut left a lot to be desired again with a very peculiar method of cutting along with the many split ends very visible after my blow dry.
The last issue was the confusing fact that while the lady appeared and spoke to the other stylist like she was senior she was unable to cut my mother's hair who was already further delayed by the hair washing confusion and sat for the 30min plus on her phone. All in all we found the experience extremely uncomfortable and unenJoyable and have never felt so unwanted as a customer before.
Despite this I will say the gentleman was very friendly I would not fault his manners and I was satisfied with the blow dry the lady actually got up to do $38.50e although a good deal still an expensive price to pay for a poor service. I do not blame treatwell for this and will definitely use the website again, just not to return to blow @ the intercontinental

I can not overstate how bad the experience was for my daughter and myself. From the start we both got calls saying appointments were running late them being busy, that was ok, but to get there and no hairstylist at all there was bad so that was a big lie. Then when the 2 stylists arrived it was obvious there were on break and not happy to see us. The female stylist in particular was rude abrupt seen hangover and mist unhelpful. She spent nearly the whole time on her phone. We both paid for a wash cut and blowdry when the male stylist started Cutting my daughter hair dry, she argued that was because her hair was highlighted and washing it would damage it more, they only washed her hair on my insurance. Maybe it was the case that the female could not cut hair but left me waiting an half an hour while she was on the phone. To add to the pain of the experience i hav never seen hair cut in the manner we experience, no division of sections, afraid to say anything as we had an occasion to go to and didn't want retalation. To be fair at least the male stylist was polite but female who seem to b a manager of sorts was beyond rude & ignorant . This is my first time to review a establisment I only do so because it was so bad. The stylist didn't even bother to look up from her phone and reply to my daughter when she was leaving. The place was Blow Intercontinental Hotel Ballsbridge,
