I really wanted to have something good to say about this treatment. However, I just can't find many positive things about the experience. This is in no way a review of the salon overall, which is clean, decently decorated, and conveniently located. The girls who work there are lovely and pleasant.
The Hollywood waxing however is possibly the worst I've ever had. They use strips to remove the wax from the skin, which is so inconvenient around that area. The girl's gloves kept on sticking to the skin, so she had to keep on pulling them up. She kept going back and forth between areas, and had to do most of the areas repeatedly (instead of once or twice). I've had the last wax about 6 weeks beforehand, the hair was the perfect length so that couldn't have been the problem. Also, she used just one spatula for the whole treatment, both Hollywood and legs, which is so unhygienic. That should've been a red flag from the beginning. Anyway, I've never been that sore afterwards (and I've been waxing my skin for years), for days afterwards, burning and painful. The legs in comparison weren't that bad, but the technique was the same so it wasn't much more pleasant. Overall, the girl really seemed to try her best, she was very sweet and tried to be careful, but the technique she used is simply not my cup of tea, and I can't recommend this treatment. I'm sure the other treatments they offer are better quality, and as I said, the salon itself is pleasant, which is the reason I'm not giving just 1 star.
