My haircut was lovely, but I booked to get permanent waves. The hairdresser did the permanent wave treatment and told me it wouldn’t be very curly, just a wave, which I was happy with. However when she was styling my hair after the treatment process, she used a lot of mousse and styling products and dried my hair with a diffuser. My hair was only slightly curly when I left the salon and I didn’t brush, style or wash my hair for over 48 hours (as instructed). After I washed my hair several days later, there was no curl. I can get a slight wave using a lot of mousse and styling products, and scrunching it a lot when wet but I could have achieved this without getting the permanent wave treatment and wasting €80. I would not recommend this treatment at all as it was a waste of money for me.
