This was the worst salon experience I've ever had. The stylist did not listen to me when I explained the look I wanted (and had had before without issue). Instead of giving me 'summery highlights', I was given low lights which were far too dark for my hair colour, and poorly executed (unnatural, chunky, stripy, and with uneven colour distribution through the strands).
I called first thing the next morning to ask for it to be fixed ASAP, the first time I'd ever gone back to a salon. I came in at the agreed time, and was left waiting for 45 minutes. No apologies were given for the wait or the fact I had to come back. The stylist wouldn't admit that mistakes had been made either with the colour choice or the execution, even when I clearly pointed out the issues. The stylist ended up bleaching over the dark bits: both the double bleaching and the incredibly rough handling (tugging out the foils, scrubbing the scalp when washing, rubbing with a towel, brushing extremely hard). In the end I asked the stylist to leave it wet and un-styled because my scalp was so sore and I could already see the damage that had been done.
I would write this off as a misadventure, but the damage which has been caused to my hair is very significant - it's gone from a great condition to tangling, crackling, and breaking. The colour is still bad: over bleached in areas, random brunette strand in others. Mistakes happen, but the worst of all is the lack of responsibility, care, and professionalism. I even messaged the salon asking for a response from the manager, attaching photos which clearly showed the colour and condition damage. The messages have been read, but no one has bothered replying.
Seriously, avoid this salon.

I arrived at 10am got my appointment which was at 10am, a worker informed me my hairdresser was on the way. He arrived 20mins late and did not apologize for seeing late. He started on my hair and the more clients came in. My hairdresser served 3 other people at the same time as me, he was under a lot of pressure. The salon was overbooked for the amount of staff working there. Colour was alright but the hairbrushing and blow dry was painful. The hairdresser pulled my hair far too hard. I was not too impressed overall. I have received a better and more timely service by trainee hairdressers. My appointment was supposed to take 2 hours but it took 4 and a half hours instead.
