Got a wavy blowdry, lasted well in to the next day

Asked for a big curly blowdry with plenty of lift at the roots. There wasn't enough tension applied during the blowdry so my hair wasn't full, and went limp a short while afterwards. The ends were flicky but not big and bouncy like I imagined. It was just okay. It's very rarely that I would have a blowdry and not like it.
